About Jeffrey A. Cohen

Mr. Cohen’s practice is devoted to providing comprehensive business, corporate, intellectual property, and employment law services to Internet and Technology related companies including, Internet service providers, web hosting companies, domain name owners, web design companies, content providers, and software developers. Mr. Cohen handles all legal aspects of business and corporate law including statutory compliance issues, complex commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, licensing, DMCA, UDRP domain name disputes, domain name purchases and sales; advertising, marketing and public relations agreements in addition to general business strategy. Mr. Cohen is also a seasoned litigator having tried several jury trials to final verdict as well as numerous bench trials, arbitrations and mediations.

          Mr. Cohen previously served as a shareholder in the Law Offices of Chapman, Glucksman & Dean apc where he founded and managed the Internet and Technology Practice Group for that firm. In 1998, Mr. Cohen founded  InternetLitigators.com which provides legal and business strategy consultation services to Internet and Internet related companies. Mr. Cohen is the founder of and has participated in many aspects of numerous other Internet ventures.
          Mr. Cohen earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the business school at Arizona State University and his juris doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California and London, England where he was a member of the Oxford Moot Court Competition, in Oxford, England. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Bars of the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association (Intellectual Property Section), The Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and The Internet Society (ISOC).
